NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 9, 2009) Federated Telephone and RFD-TV, LLC teamed up in early January 2009 to launch RFD-TV in West Central Minnesota.

RFD-TV can be seen on the cable system’s Basic Package on channel 27 by viewers in Alberta, Chokio, Correll, Danvers, Hancock, Holloway, Milan, Morris, and Odessa, Minnesota.

RFD-TV is a cable channel that serves the general interests and needs of rural America with a variety of well-balanced, high-quality, original programs including Imus in the Morning, Crook & Chase, Hee Haw and The Marty Stuart Show.

“RFD-TV is thrilled to be partnered with Federated Telephone. Federated’s subscribers will now be able to watch America’s pre-eminent equine, agricultural, rural lifestyle, music, and entertainment programming that targets the rural population and those who just love the rural way of life,” said John Scaro, RFD-TV’s Midwest Director.

“At Federated Telephone, we survey our customers and ask for their input on the channels they would like to see offered. Over the past few years, requests for RFD-TV increased to one of the most requested channels. We are pleased to bring RFD-TV to our channel lineup and our customers, “said Federated Telephone’s Marketing and Customer Service Manager, Donna Eul.
