Customer Service Representatives (Omaha, NE)

Role and Responsibilities

Customer Service Representatives interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products offered by Rural Media Group.

·         Directly responsible for customer retention.

·         Responsible for the fulfillment of client orders.

·         Ability to give general product information and recommendations.

·         Maintains a high level of customer service, while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude.

·         Responds to customer inquiries/complaints promptly.

·         Ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal).

·         Obtains and evaluates all relevant information to handle customer needs.

·         Accurately perform customer verifications, process orders, update records, resolve issues, etc.

·         Maintains customer database.

·         Ability to pleasantly handle unpleasant customers and not take customer complaints personally.

·         Keeps detailed records of customer interactions and transactions (inquiries, comments, complaints), so other   Customer Care   Representatives may be able to follow up/continue conversations with the customer.

·         Communicates and coordinates with internal departments.

·         Monitors inventory levels.

·         Ensures orders are filled accurately and efficiently; and prepares orders for shipment.

·         Processes incoming material for receipt into inventory and checks quality of product.

·         May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Skill Requirements

·         High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent required.

·         1-2 Years of continuous experience working with customers.

·         Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

·         Ability to deal with clients and staff in a professional manner.

·         Must have the ability to successfully handle several requests and projects simultaneously.

·         Able to prioritize and schedule work accordingly.

·         A self-starter and team player is a must.

·         Applicant must be a strategic thinker, detail oriented, outgoing, organized and efficient.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).

·         Ability to type 50+ wpm.

·         Shipping experience a plus, but not required.

·         Must be able to lift/load 30-75 lbs.
