Rural Media Group Launches New Website for International Television Distribution

OMAHA, Neb . (September 23, 2011) - Rural Media Group, Inc. has announced the launch of a new corporate division for the international distribution and sale of both its programming and RURAL TV, The World’s Rural Channel.  To facilitate broader sales and open up its brands to the global TV market, Rural Media Group has created a custom web site (www.ruralmediainternational.com) styled specifically for TV content buyers, platform owners, global networks and broadcasters.  

Designed with the buyer in mind, this new website offers full program descriptions, screeners and complete episode information making it a one-stop-shop for programming designed to cultivate and nourish the country lifestyle.  The new corporate website allows content buyers to easily access Rural Media Group’s unique program library containing more than 55 original series and 3,000 hours of family-friendly programming focused on equestrian lifestyle, western sports, music, news, agribusiness and country living.   

“We look forward to sharing our passion for the rural lifestyle with people from across the globe and to fill the void left by other urban-based channels,” said Gatsby Gottsch, executive vice-president of Rural Media Group.  “Over the past ten years, we have received tremendous interest from countries around the world to add our popular programs to their lineup and our new RMG international division and website will help us do just that.” 

Programs from Rural Media Group’s library are currently airing in more than 45 million homes around the world including the United States, Puerto Rico, Holland, Germany, South Korea, New Zealand and Australia.  “Rural Media Group hopes that the launch of the international distribution division will strengthen these current partnerships and create new global partnerships, which will expand our brands worldwide,” added Gottsch.
