Mollie B Polka Party

RFD-TV will use six high-definition cameras for the production, making this the first polka show to be shot and aired in true 1080i HD. Over 31 different bands will be recorded over the four days, including scheduled one to two-hour sets by the Freeze Dried, Goodtime Dutchmen, Tuba Dan Band, Young Polka Stars Band, Twin City Soundz, Polish Connection, Diddlestyx, Ray Watkowski and Family Band, Karl and the Country Dutchmen, Craig Ebel’s DyVersaCo, Brian and the Mississippi Valley Dutchmen, International Polka Association Tribute Band, Music Connection, Chad Przybylski & The Polka Rhythms, Family Tradition Band, Tom Brusky, Dain’s Dutchmen, Gary’s Ridgeland Dutchmen, The Wendinger Band, Carol & The Keynotes, Kenny Brandt Band, Scott Bixby Band, Hauser’s Hotshots, Squeezebox, Jim Busta Band, Greg Anderson, Richie Yurkovich & Polkarioty, Mike Schneider Band, New Generation Band, Benji’s Polka Pac, and Copperbox. Mollie B will introduce the various bands on camera, as well as, interact extensively with the on-site audience in what is expected to be a full dance floor. “Our polka party in Rothschild will be exactly that.... a Party,” said Mollie Busta, host of the Mollie B Polka Party. “If you have never been to a polka event, this is for you - our 31 bands will demonstrate so many of the different styles of polka music. This truly is an event for everyone -- you, your neighbor, your family, and the kids. We have polka fans coming into Wisconsin from more than 15 states.” Doors at The Patriot Center will open at 1pm each day, with the first band being on stage beginning at 2pm, and the last band going until about 10pm in the evening. Food and drink will be provided on site. The Mollie B Polka Party is a new one-hour television show that airs each Saturday evening at 10pm eastern in RFD-TV’s popular Saturday night “Music Row” program schedule. Repeat times are Mondays 4am eastern, Wednesdays 7pm eastern and Thursdays 9am eastern. Hosted by Mollie Busta of the Squeezebox Polka Band from Ohio, each program features five different polka bands shot on location at various polka festivals located from around the United States.
