OMAHA (DTN) -- The last weekly crop progress report for this year showed winter wheat emergence on a pace equal to the five-year average with improving condition ratings.

Ninety-two percent of the nation's winter wheat had emerged as of Nov. 27, compared to 93% last year and a five-year average of 92%.

Winter wheat condition improved slightly, with only 13% rated very poor to poor this week as compared to 16% the previous week. Fifty-two percent of the crop is now rated good to excellent as compared to 50% last week.

"Traders will pay little, if any attention to this report," said DTN Analyst John Sanow.
