Ken McNabb and High Horse Video Productions are proud to be the recipients of a 2011 Telly Award for “Best Informational Program:  A Day on the Ranch”, an episode from Ken’s RFD-TV series, “Discovering the Horseman Within” shot on location in Douglas, Wyoming. 

Ken has been a veteran on the schedule at RFD-TV for many years and began working with High Horse Video Productions to produce his series in summer of 2010.  His boyish good looks, hardworking, no nonsense teaching style and family values combined with 25 years of horse training experience have earned him the label of a “modern day Roy Rogers”, and his fans worldwide give him high marks for his honesty and skill as a horseman.   

“This award really says more about the team I have working for me than it does about me”, says Ken.  I’m so pleased to know that we’re reaching so many people with our show on RFD-TV, and I’m so proud of my team!” 

This is the second Telly Award for High Horse Video Productions as they continue to raise the bar to bring higher quality and excellence to their clients’ productions. “Ken has worked hard for a long time, not for awards, but for the horse.  We’re so pleased he has gotten the accolades he deserves”, says Director Michael Killen. “Ken reaches people like no one else we’ve worked with”, agrees Producer Dianne Killen, who is also a horse owner. “He’s very real, you don’t feel as if you’re watching a showman or an entertainer, you feel as if he’s your brother, your friend, and he’s there just to help you”.
