Classic Tractors

RFD-TV’s popular Classic Tractor Hour is a must see for any tractor enthusiast. Early American models that emerged after the turn of the century changed the way the world viewed “horsepower.” From Hart-Parr, Farmall, Caterpillar, Rumley, Fordson, John Deere, Oliver, Minneapolis-Moline, Massey-Harris, International Harvester and Case models - the mechanical innovation of tractors fundamentally altered the way plowing, soil preparation, planting and cultivating tasks were performed. Farmers began replacing horses and mules, all the while increasing their productivity.

RFD-TV’s Classic Tractor Hour is an hour-long show that reveals the models, their owners and exemplary collections of traditional American tractors. You’ll see antique tractor pulls, organized antique tractor rides, auctions, collector interviews and even antique tractor toys and replica collections.

Learn about some of America’s top antique tractor shows including the annual Half Century of Progress held in Rantoul, Illinois and hosted by broadcaster Max Armstrong, the Chippewa County Rural Heritage Days Annual Tractor Drive and Tillage Day, Florida Flywheelers and the Crossroads of Dixie. Aside from vintage farm equipment,
Classic Tractor Hour also features field demonstrations — plowing, planting, tillage, threshing and more.
