The Angus Report
Season begins Monday, Sept. 5 at 8:30am ET, repeats Saturday at 2:30pm ET Beginning this fall, cattle ranchers across the country can tune into a new morning news program geared specifically for the beef cattle industry. The Angus Report will focus on the latest news and information affecting every sector of the cattle business — from seedstock producers to commercial cattlemen; from feeders to retailers. In addition to timely industry issues, regularly featured segments will include management tips and marketing information to improve the quality and profitability of your herd. The Angus Report will also take viewers across the country to Angus and cattle industry shows, meetings and events; and to meet producers who, like themselves, are dedicated to producing a safe, wholesome food supply for today’s consumers. In addition, the program will include recipes and beef preparation tips from the chefs at Certified Angus Beef Brand. “This program is for anyone with an interest in the cattle business, regardless of herd size, location or breed,” says Eric Grant, the show’s executive producer and American Angus Association director of public relations. “Ranchers today are presented with more challenges than ever before. This program offers producers an opportunity to get the latest beef cattle news and pertinent information to benefit their livelihoods — from the comfort of their homes.” The half-hour show is the first morning news program created by a beef breed association for beef cattle producers.
