Helicopter Horseman

Jason Abraham is the “HELICOPTER HORSEMAN”.

Jason owns a ranch just outside of Canadian, Texas where he runs more than 2000 recipient mares, and stands a few stallions as well. Jason is very involved in the research, development, and practice of embryo transferring in horses. He works very closely with some of the leading veterinarians and researchers in the area of equine biogenetics. He also has a very close working relationship with the Equine Research Lab at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. In fact, on April 14th, 2006, a noncycling mule gave birth to a quarterhorse filly at CSU. This was one of Jason’s projects, and is believed to be the first time in history that this has happened.

The “HELICOPTER HORSEMAN” will cover many aspects of the scientific world of equine reproduction, cloning, lameness, breeding, mare care, oocyte recovery, embryo recovery and transferring, and lots of other scientific matter. However, this is not the only subjects covered by the “HELICOPTER HORSEMAN.”

In almost every episode, viewers will be treated to some of the most beautiful aerial video photography imaginable, as Jason flies over many areas of the country. Canyons, lakes, rolling hills, mountains, some of the most beautiful horse facilities and ranches in the country. Jason will have a very entertaining list of guests on the show. People like rodeo announcer Bob Tallman, 4 time PRCA world champion saddle bronc rider Clint Johnson, helicopter expert Trey Webb, and a host of other entertaining guests. Jason will visit many horse operations, the Working Ranch Rodeo Finals, PRCA National Finals for a behind the scenes look, as well as the and Budweiser Clydesdale training facility, exotic game ranches where he will show how exotic animals are netted from a helicopter, plus a wide variety of other entertaining and educational shows.

Jason will also show how the helicopter is a very important tool in ranching operations and the many uses it has both on and off the ranch. Jason’s co-host for the show is Amber Cameron. Amber has appeared in such movies as Any Given Sunday, Waking Up in Reno, Aunt Maddie, Mixed Vegetables, and music videos by Tim McGraw, Tracy Lawrence, and Martina McBride. She is the television spokesperson for Brown Pontiac/GMC/Buick in Amarillo and is working on a new movie project due to be released in 2007.

The “HELICOPTER HORSEMAN,” promises to be one of the most talked about and exciting new shows on television. Jason’s laid-back approach to hosting the show will relate very well to viewers. His humor and knowledge will be both entertaining and educational.

Although there will be areas of scientific information, Jason does an excellent job of putting all of this information into terms that the average person can understand. Whether it is an experienced breeder, or maybe someone who has just bought their first horse, the “HELICOPTER HORSEMAN” will hold the interest of all.

If you like horses, and enjoy the lifestyle associated with horses, the “HELICOPTER HORSEMAN” will have something for you.
