The Shotgun Red Variety Show
The Shotgun Red Co. reviewed over 1200 CDs and DVDs sent in from acts all around the USA and Canada. We looked for acts that were different and performers that we knew the RFD-TV viewers would love! From the moment we all walked into RFD-TV The Theatre in Branson, MO and saw the giant Shotgun Red Variety Show backdrop go up behind the stage, we knew this was going to be a special show. The band and crew arrived early for set up. The stage props and Shotgun Red’s Desk (home base) were put together, the band arranged on the stage and the show came to life. There was excitement in the air as each artist arrived for their rehearsal. It was written on their faces as they sat in the front row looking up at the large decorated stage eagerly awaiting their turn. One by one, each artist performs a variety of songs and acts. The acts that were chosen to perform included everything from jugglers, family bands, recording artists, comedians, dancers and magicians.
