RURAL RADIO SiriusXM Channel 147 Turns Two!
Launched in partnership with SiriusXM Radio, RURAL RADIO hosted a kick-off party at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in August of 2013 and featured an all-day celebration at the finish line with food, music, a classic tractor exhibition, and wrapped up by setting a Guinness World Record pickup parade. “It’s been a great two years. We’re so proud to have partnered with SiriusXM. SiriusXM’s unparalleled programming and easy-to-use technology has been embraced by rural consumers in their cars, pickups, tractors and combines throughout North America,” said Patrick Gottsch, Founder of Rural Media Group and RURAL RADIO. “RURAL RADIO is designed to fill the growing demand for more rural content that is being ignored by urban-based broadcasters. I want to publicly thank the SiriusXM executives for continuing to work with us.”

Rural American listeners can tune-in for extensive weekday programming devoted to rural news, weather, agriculture, western sports shows, PBR and PRCA coverage, commodity market reports live from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and more!
