NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFDTV) – During RFD-TV’s RURAL TOWN HALL, American voters have the chance to voice questions to 2016 presidential candidate, Senator Ted Cruz. MediaCom representative, Jeff Angelo posed the following question:

“What can the government do to continue to incent companies to invest in not only broadband but cellular networks in rural areas?” asked Angelo

“One of the things I think we need to do is to move a lot more spectrum to the private sector. If you look at the amount of spectrum the federal government controls, it doesn’t make any sense.” answers Cruz. “Every time the federal government takes over an industry, what happens is stagnation.”

Watch Senator Cruz’s complete answer in the video above and see how he addresses other issues important to rural Americans on RURAL TOWN HALL.
