Santorum Answers Question about Economic Development

October 8, 2015

NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFDTV) – During RFD-TV’s RURAL TOWN HALL, allows American voters a chance to voice questions to 2016 presidential candidates such as Rick Santorum. Reporter from Des Moines Register, Kim Norvell, brought up a concern about economic development.

My question is, what is your prescription for revitalizing economic development in rural America?” asked Norvell. “…With a manufacturing plan that will revitalize the country generally," responded Santorum. “It used to be we were only going to manufacture near where the resource was or where a body of skilled labor was. Companies are going to go where there’s available land and where there’s people who want them there – and there’s trained people.”

Watch Santorum’s complete answer in the video above and see how he addresses other issues important to rural Americans on RURAL TOWN HALL.
