Santorum Discusses Greenhouse Gas Regulations

October 8, 2015

NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFDTV) – During RFD-TV’s RURAL TOWN HALL, allows American voters a chance to voice questions to 2016 presidential candidates such as Rick Santorum. Annette Sweeney, a multi-generational farmer and a representative of American AgriWomen, brought up rule-making with regard to greenhouse gas regulations:

We’re looking at rule-making and it’s coming down the pike where a lot of rule-making is happening, so when you are president, what actions would be taken to current rule-making related to greenhouse gases?” asked Sweeney

The overall regulatory environment that this president has created has been . . . hostile to Americans in rural areas, to American agriculture, and to American manufacturers,” says Santorum. “These environmental policies affect rural America and so they’re able to sell these in their cities where they get their votes.”

Watch Santorum’s complete answer in the video above and see how he addresses other issues important to rural Americans on RURAL TOWN HALL.
