Submit Your Comments to the FCC

The FCC is now accepting comments from citizens on the recently adopted Notice of Inquiry (NOI) in regards to independent broadcasters like RFD-TV being squeezed off the air.  There are two ways for you to make your voice heard on this important and urgent issue.  Please read the instructions below carefully to ensure your comment reaches the FCC directly.

TWO IMPORTANT POINTS!

  1. Open the letter with “I watch RFD-TV on (insert cable/satellite provider…DirecTV, Dish, Charter, etc).”  VERY IMPORTANT.
  2. Make sure you indicate Proceeding Number 16-41.

To Submit Your Comment Electronically:

Step 1.  Insert proceeding number 16-41

Step 2.  Fill out your name, email, address

Step 3.  In the comment section, state on which cable or satellite system you watch RFD-TV.  For example, “I watch RFD-TV on (DirecTV, Dish, Charter, etc).”  Then make your personal comment. 

Step 4.  Click Continue

Step 5.  Review your comment and Click Confirm.

To Submit A Handwritten Comment

1.  Address your letter “Dear FCC, Proceeding number 16-41

2.  Include a contact name, address, and phone number

3.  State on which cable or satellite system you watch RFD-TV.  For example, “I watch RFD-TV on (DirecTV, Dish, Charter, etc).”  Then make your personal comment. 

4.  Sign your letter

5.  The letters should be addressed to:

6.  Affix stamp and mail via US Postal Service
