NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFDTV) - The U.S. filed another World Trade Organization complaint against China, arguing Beijing didn't comply with the terms of a 2013 ruling on poultry import duties.

See the official dispute information.

The U.S. trade representative argues China continued to impose unfair anti-dumping and countervailing taxes on U.S. broiler imports.

China imposed the duties six years ago to punish American poultry producers for allegedly selling products below their fair market value, however the WTO sided with the U.S. in 2013.  But China has effectively shut the U.S. out of its market ever since.

The skirmish over chicken imports comes as the U.S. steps up its enforcement of trade rules in hopes of winning more support for the Trans-Pacific Partnership, also known as TPP.

The complaint is the 12th U.S. enforcement action brought against China since 2008.
