UPDATE: The body of 19-year-old Jerry Greer, the son of country music singer Craig Morgan, was recovered last night from Kentucky Lake in northwestern Tennessee.

The search began late Sunday afternoon (July 10).  According to reports from The Tennessean, "Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis said two teens were tubing on Kentucky Lake when they fell into the water. A 19-year-old, who witnesses said was wearing a life jacket, never resurfaced from the water."

Rescue crews searched both the Tennessee River and Kentucky Lake through Sunday night and throughout Monday.

Morgan's publicist, Cindy Hunt, released a statement confirming the body had been recovered by the Humphreys County Sheriff's Department.  "The family is grateful for the outpouring of support and requests prayers at this time as they privately mourn this terrible loss," Hunt's statement said.

Craig Morgan came onto the country music scene in 2000 after serving in the U.S. Army.  Morgan is known for his top hits "That's What I Love About Sundays" and "International Harvester" to name a few.
