Son Carries on Tractor Pulling Legacy

Chapel Hill, Tennessee recently held the 40th Annual Lions Super Pull of the South. This National Tractor Pull Association sanctioned invitation event draws competitors from across the nation to battle for their share of $100,000 in prize money.

One competitor is following in his father's footsteps.

Tractor pulling has been a part of Adam Koester's life since he could remember. His father is a three-time champion and Koester won the 2007 and 2008 Rotella Cup. But his love for tractor pulling doesn't stop at being a driver.

"I’ve worked for Minor Brother Racing Engines out of Stockton, California." Koester said, "The engine is quite a work of art actually -- it’s a very beautiful  piece when you look at it inside and out."

Although Koester came from a tractor pulling family, he says to have success "just be yourself."
