The Wrangler NFR is the richest and most prestigious rodeo in the world and an event like no other. This year the extravaganza runs December 7-16 in Las Vegas. The multi-day event is the culmination of the rodeo season where the top 15 contestants in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding compete to take home top honors and their share of a multi-million dollar purse.
Each year the Wrangler NFR transforms the look and feel of the “Entertainment Capital of the World.” Rodeo fans decked out in jeans, boots and hats fill hotels, casinos, restaurants, shopping malls and showrooms. Hotel marquees will be splashed with the names of the brightest stars in country and western music for 10 straight days.
The Wrangler NFR features an impressive list of entertainers to sing the national anthem & perform on stage in Cowboy Corral prior to and after each rodeo performance. Past performers include Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, The Eli Young Band, Reba McEntire and Lady Antebellum.
In addition, fans can enjoy the ProRodeo Zone, the exclusive fan interactive area of the Wrangler NFR. Sponsors provide interactive activities in tents adjacent to the arena. The NFR Sponsor Hotels also have interactive tents set up in the NFR Village, on the plaza in front of the arena.
Cowboy Christmas, the longest running and ONLY “original” gift show of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo boasts over 300,000 square feet of show floor hosting 400 plus vendors from across the United States and Canada. Each year these vendors showcase their unique products which include: customized jewelry, western wear, boots and spurs, furniture, original art, handmade crafts, and pottery.
