NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) When it comes to fair season, nothing compares to the thrills of the Iowa Sate Fair! Held this year from August 10-20 in Des Moines, the state fair is the largest annual event in the state of Iowa and one of the biggest and longest-running agricultural and industrial expositions in the US. More than a million visitors from all over the world attend each year.
