Hurricanes Harvey and Irma may be gone, but it will be a long time until life returns to normal for those dealing with the aftermath. As massive clean-up efforts continue, residents are faced with the daunting task of starting over.

Farmer Lester Morrow filmed his return to his small farm in Plum Grove, Texas. But among the debris, he was joyfully surprised to find some the animals he had been forced to abandon during the storm.

Watch his moving video below and follow his journey to reconstruct his home and farm.
