AFBF: Food-Related Jobs Linked to NAFTA

More than 35,000 U.S. food manufacturing jobs, plus an additional 191,000 indirect jobs relating to food manufacturing, are tied to the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). That’s more than 225,000 jobs in total. American Farm Bureau Federation Market Economist, Veronica Nigh, spoke with RFD-TV's Janet Adkison on “Market Day Report,” explaining the NAFTA negotiations and their impact on the food and processed food trade between the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
