The American Music Awards are November 19, but right now, fans can vote for their favorite acts. Most of the all-genre categories are dominated by pop and hip-hop artists. But country music legend Garth Brooks is the sole country act nominated for Tour of the Year.
In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last three years, Brooks has been on an epic North American tour which has sold over 6 million tickets and has set a new record. The previous record was also held by Brooks with 5.35 million tickets sold in the late 1990s.
In the Tour of the Year category, Brooks is up against legendary rockers U2 and the British band Coldplay. Fans can go here to vote.
