Harvest Moon will shine on Friday the 13th

A Harvest Moon will illuminate the sky on Friday the 13th, making for an event that will not happen for another 30 years.

The moon will turn full at 11:33 p.m. Central, 10:33 Mountain and 9:33 p.m. Pacific. If you are superstitious person living on the East Coast, you’re in luck, the moon won’t become officially full until after Midnight Eastern time.

According to the Farmers’ Almanac, the last time this happened was on Oct. 13, 2000.
