African Swine Fever continues to present issues for much of Asia as Indonesia is the latest country to be impacted by the disease.
The nation’s Minister of Agriculture confirmed the country’s first outbreak on Dec. 12, according to a release from the National Pork Board.
The United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization is working with the Indonesian government to provide recommendations on containment and control of the virus.
Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Loas, Macau, Mongolia, Myanmar, North Korea, South Korea, The Phillipines, Russia, Thailand and Vietnam also have confirmed cases of ASF.
