Electric cars have been in production now for a while, and now comes an electric tractor that is being featured at the World Ag Expo.
Steve Heckeroth is the CEO and founder of Solectrac and he is hoping his invention will change the world.
He says that there are many reasons an electric tractor would be advantageous, most of all, no maintenance. He also says that the battery provides weight for added traction and stability.
Solectrac has three models currently available from 30 to 40 horsepower, and they are in the development stage of a 70 hp model.
