EPA could soon allow electric vehicles to quality for RFS credits

The EPA could soon allow electric vehicles to qualify for credits under the Renewable Fuels Standards program.

It would allow renewable power for charging to quality. Experts say the language has been largely ignored for years, but it has come to light as the White House pushes for EVs.

Approval for the provision could come by mid-September.
