A new poll is shedding light on how Americans feel about the meat industry.
A poll conducted by Redfield and Wilton Strategies interviewed 1,500 people and found most do not think the meat industry is bad for the climate, and 35 percent said they believe it is a healthy choice.
81 percent said they eat meat at least once a week while 10 percent said they only eat it once or twice a month.
40 percent said they do not believe eating less red meat would reduce global emissions.
