Christina Loren, News Anchor/Meteorologist

Christina Loren is an award-winning Anchor, Meteorologist and Host for RFD-TV. She considers it a great privilege to deliver daily news and weather reports to the hard-working men and women who feed, fuel and clothe the world. Christina has dedicated a high level of commitment to her education, earning a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Communications at California State University Chico. She also completed a three-year program at Mississippi State University and achieved official Meteorological Certification in 2010. In 2015, Christina went back to school and earned a master’s degree in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University.

Throughout her career Christina has been mentored and coached by some of the most insightful and distinguished Meteorologists in the industry. Nothing pleases her more than an accurate forecast.

In addition to anchoring news and forecasting weather, Christina also serves as host and writer of RFD-TV’s award-winning documentary-style show “The Rural Americans,” co-host of, “Rural Health Matters,” alongside Dr. Gold from UNMC and her favorite assignment is hosting the annual Rose Parade on RFD-TV. When she is not working, Christina enjoys spending her free time with her three-year-old son, Eli and pug, Scooter.
