Could the fertilizer industry be turning around?

The global fertilizer industry could be turning around.

Leaders at the International Fertilizer Association say the market is at a crossroads right now. Despite production issues seen last year, they say there are no shortages.

Global production is expected to increase this year with urea capacity rising two percent and phosphorus production jumping seven percent. Potash production is expected to fall 14 percent but that is only about five percent off levels seen in 2019.

This, as the prices of all eight major fertilizers declined again this week.
