PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wis.—As part of their Thank You Farmers® Project, Culver’s launched the third annual To Farmers With Love Contest today – this year more than doubling total prize money to reward deserving farmers across the country. This year’s contest begins today and will run through Oct. 11, leading up to National Farmer’s Day on Oct. 12.

New this year, Culver’s will select one lucky winner to receive a grand prize package. Over the past two years, the contest has offered entrants the opportunity to nominate a deserving farmer in their life to win a cash prize to help support their farms.

Thirty winning farmers will receive a $500 cash prize, Culver’s gift cards and a Thank You Farmers Project gift package – which is double the number of farmers recognized in previous years.

Additionally, to demonstrate Culver’s dedication to supporting the future of agriculture, the brand will make a $575 donation in each winning farmer’s name to a local FFA chapter of their choice. One grand prize winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize to be used toward enhancements for their farm, a $5,000 donation made in their name to a local FFA chapter, Culver’s gift cards and a Thank You Farmers Project gift package.

“Culver’s is committed to investing in the future of agriculture, and nobody embodies that future like these deserving farmers,” said Alison Demmer, senior marketing and public relations manager at Culver’s. “We’re proud to honor these hardworking and dedicated farmers and hope that this contest inspires them and the next generation of agricultural leaders to continue producing nutritious food to ensure a sustainable and vibrant food supply for our communities.”

Through the Thank You Farmers Project, Culver’s has donated over $5 million to agricultural organizations since 2013.
