Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl barbecued more than a day to feed those in need

Dave Grohl, founder of the rock band, The Foo Fighters recently traded in his drumsticks for an apron.

He barbecued for 24 hours to feed the homeless in California who were recently misplaced due to a storm. He and his friends cooked more than 500 meals for three shelters.

He arrived with a massive smoke trailer, which they used to smoke ribs, brisket, pork butts, and of course, delicious sides.

Grohl and his friends took turns smoking the meat overnight, and Grohl says he is very serious about his barbecue. He even camped out to ensure the meat was to perfection.
