Food waste in Canada increases during COVID-19

A recent survey suggests Canadians are wasting about five pounds of food per week, an increase of just over half a pound of food per week compared to pre-COVID-19 levels.

“It’s very interesting that it’s gone up during the COVID restrictions, but it makes since because more Canadians are eating at home,” Host of RealAg Radio Shaun Haney notes.
