Grain Deal Extended: Russian & UN officials agree to keep goods moving out of Ukraine

Russia announced a four-month extension of the Black Sea Grain Deal.

A new agreement was reached overnight to continue moving grain from the Black Sea Region.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry has confirmed to Reuters the Black Sea Grain initiative was extended for four months without any changes to the current deal.

The UN’s Secretary General tweeted he welcomes the deal, saying it will continue to allow the safe navigation and export of grain and fertilizer from the war-torn country.
