NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Following up his fourth No. 1 at Canadian Country radio earlier this summer, multi-PLATINUM artist Jade Eagleson is back on the airwaves with the release of his new single “Do It Anyway” feat. Texas native Jake Worthington. Available everywhere today, the traditional Country duo teams up for a fresh take on Eagleson’s hit track from his critically acclaimed album, Do It Anyway. Draped in a boot-heel-clicking rhythm that surrounds itself in fiddle, “Do It Anyway” immediately transports the listener to a Friday night dance hall as Eagleson and Worthington’s voices blend into a refreshing ‘90s Country flavor.
“I really appreciate what Jake is doing for Country music, and I have wanted to collaborate with him since I first heard his music. I’m grateful that he wanted to jump on this new version of the song with me,” shared Eagleson. “‘Do It Anyway’ is a song that deeply resonates with me - it feels like it was written about me. Getting to cut a song from legends Chase McGill, Matt Jenkins and Ashley Gorley was definitely an added bonus.”
“When Jade asked if I would join him on the song, it was an easy yes,” added Worthington. “I am a fan of what he’s doing and the good ole Country music he’s making.”
In addition to the new track, Eagleson was able to share a bucket list moment last week with the world when he announced that he will be making his Grand Ole Opry debut on October 18. Standing in the same spot as so many of his idols, Eagleson will soon take his much-deserved place in the circle for the very first time. Watch the heartfelt moment when he received the news here.
“The past few weeks have really been hard to believe - I’m watching some of my wildest dreams come true,” shared Eagleson. “Playing on the Opry stage has been something I’ve wanted to do since I first picked up a guitar.”
After taking home the titles of Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year at the 2023 CCMA Awards, Eagleson received six 2024 CCMA Awards nominations for Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, Fans’ Choice, Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year and Songwriter(s) of the Year just yesterday, which has Eagleson tied for the most nominations at this year’s awards. He will also take the stage during Country Music Week in Edmonton for the CCMA Legends Show and on the 2024 CCMA Awards national broadcast on September 14 with a not-to-be missed performance.
With no shortage of things to celebrate with fans, Eagleson is in the midst of a busy summer out on the road with multiple festivals across Canada, more stops with Country megastar Cody Johnson this fall, Faster Horses Festival this weekend and the Ohio State Fair next week, among many other shows in North America throughout July and August.
