A growing awareness of the need for more resilient farming and food systems is leading to greater interest in regenerative approaches. The University of Missouri’s Center for Regenerative Agriculture works with diverse collaborators to help farmers implement these new sustainability practices and provide information tailored specifically to landowners, farm advisors, consumers, and companies.
In addition to the $25-million grant for soil health, the Missouri Extension is also developing a $10 million USDA-funded cover crop and seed production program.
