One ag company is joining the revolution of Chat GPT

While traditional manufacturers are cutting production, analysts expect the precision ag tech market to grow. Now, one company is using a popular artificial intelligence service.

Farmers Business Network has created “Norm,” which is an ag-centric artificial intelligence platform built on Chat GPT. Developers say the program gives farmers a decision assistant and can help them with a number of different areas on the farm.

“You can ask ‘Norm’ anything; you can ask it about weather, you can ask about planting conditions, you can ask about markets, it is especially good at chemicals. We’ve trained it on thousands of ag chemical labels, so it can help you make any type of decisions around the use of that product,” said Charles Baron.

Baron says the end goal is to make it easier for farmers to get the job done, especially given the issues lately with agriculture labor.
