OPEC cuts oil production by a new record

For the second straight week, gas prices climbed higher, with the nation’s average gas price now $3.78 per gallon.

OPEC-Plus has agreed to cut oil production by a record two million barrels a day, which will send gas and diesel prices higher.

The oil cartel was expected to cut production anywhere from half a million barrels to two million. The announcement comes as gas prices are already climbing for the second straight week.

Diesel is holding steady, dropping $0.03 in the last week.
