The heartfelt track “Church” adds a new layer of depth to Riegling’s discography. On his inspiration behind the music, Owen shares “I’ve been playing this song live for the past year, so I’m excited to finally put it out. It’s about trying to be a good person, and sometimes still feeling lost. It’s about music being one of the things I go back to when I need to get right again. It’s a tip of the hat to one of my greatest inspirations, Eric Church.”

“Church” follows Owen’s debut EP Bruce County that released in May, including Platinum-certified hit “Old Dirt Roads” peaking #2 at Canadian Country radio and current single “Moonshines”#1 most added at Country radio. After garnering 4x nominations for ‘Entertainer of the Year’, ‘Male Artist of the Year’, ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year’, ‘Songwriter of the Year for “Old Dirt Roads”’, Owen was announced as performer at the 2024 Canadian Country Music Association® Awards, airing live September 14 on CTV and hosted by Mackenzie Porter and Thomas Rhett.

After winning the 2022 Emerging Artists Showcase at the Canadian country music mega-fest Boots & Hearts, Owen signed his record deal with Universal Music Canada. Owen’s growing discography includes debut single “Love (The Sweater Song)”, and the Platinum-certified radio hit “Old Dirt Roads”. Owen wrapped 2023 as Apple Music’s UpNext Program and kicked off 2024 selected as Spotify’s Hot Country Artists To Watch and Amazon Canada’s Breakthrough Artists to Watch 2024. With over 80 million global streams, it is clear Owen is maintaining his unstoppable pace and making his mark on the music industry. Recently touring with country stars like Tyler Hubbard, Nickleback, Chase Rice, and Riley Green, he as well headlined his own small-town tour across Canada, The Buckle Up Tour in partnership with Bud Light Canada.
