“Poor timing": Helene and Milton are causing huge impacts on Florida’s phosphate production

Florida farmers and ranchers are assessing the impact of Hurricane Milton, which hit the state as a Cat 3 storm last night. While the region is known for a number of ag commodities, it is also home to a large amount of phosphate production.

Josh Linville with StoneX spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on the region’s phosphate production, the impact of the storms, and what all this means to the market.
