President-elect Trump nominates Jamieson Greer as U.S. Trade Representative

Just days after outlining new action on tariffs, President-elect Trump has named someone to lead the charge on trade.

He has nominated Jamieson Greer to be the next U.S. Trade Representative. Greer was the Chief of Staff for former U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lightizer in Trump’s first Administration. During his time there, he was part of several key measures, including trade deals with South Korea and work on the USMCA.
