Russia rejoins the Ukraine grain-export deal

Ships are now allowed to leave Ukraine.

Russia has agreed to resume its part in the Black Sea grain deal.

According to the Associated Press, Russia agreed to the deal after receiving written guarantees from Ukraine that the shipping corridor would not be used for military action.

Russia pulled out of the grain deal over the weekend, alleging Ukraine of a drone attack against its Black Sea fleet in Crimea. Ukraine did not confirm responsibility for the attack.
