Earlier today, the Senate passed legislation to avoid a rail strike that was said to be catastrophic to the economy.
The House passed the legislation just yesterday.
The bill now heads to the President’s desk for his signature, who has been urging Congress to swiftly pass it.
The vote passed 80 to 15.
