Solar investments to overtake oil for the first time

Solar power is topping oil for the first time, that is according to the International Energy Agency.

The agency reports investment in clean energy will lead fossil fuels this year, with renewable energy investments up nearly 25% since 2021, while fossil fuel spending is up 15 percent.

Five years ago, the ratio of investing was one-to-one.

In 2023, solar power spending will hit more than $1 billion dollars a day.
