Penny Gilley, dubbed “the Sweetheart of Country Music,” is celebrating 12 years of “The Penny Gilley Show” on RFD-TV! The weekly show, which debuted September 3, 2007 and is still going strong, has previously been taped in Branson, Missouri and Grapevine, Texas, and for the the past three years at Lil Red’s Longhorn Saloon in the historic Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas.

Gilley says the Saloon, an award-winning honky-tonk in a building built in 1920, is the perfect venue for her “keepin’ it country” brand of entertainment.

“Lil Red’s is the real deal,” she says. “Whether you are a singer, a guitar picker, dancer, or just a fan, everybody can get down to the roots of real country and honky-tonk music.” Gilley adds that the “Cowtown” venue delivers a true Texas experience.

Penny and her guests – country music stars of yesteryear, today, and tomorrow – will continue to be backed up by The Texas All-Star Band, featuring fiddler Bonnie Riley, who has been with Penny since the first show in Branson.

Penny's love for country music and her fans is undeniable. She likes to refer to her fans as “friends”; they know how much she really loves and appreciates them. Not only does she bring her down home charm and sweetness to her fans, she also brings her signature glitz, glamor, and bling.

“God has really bless me in my career,” she says. “Stay tuned – you never know what's next. Love and thanks for the 12 years.”
