Premieres Expand Key Programming Genres for “Rural America’s Most Important Network”
(NASHVILLE, TN — SEPTEMBER 3, 2015) RFD-TV announced the details of its September 2015 schedule highlighting a slate of new series and returning favorites. RFD-TV’s new primetime lineup offers a fresh new programming slate that expands several primary network genres, including music and entertainment, rural lifestyle programming, Western sports and equine shows. Season premieres include The Dailey & Vincent Show from award-winning bluegrass artists Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent, a revamped Texas Country Reporter with Bob and Kelli Phillips, and programming classics like The Big Joe Polka Show and The Lone Ranger.
“RFD-TV’s new programming has some great new shows, some of which we have worked to bring to the network for a long time,” stated senior vice president of programming, Kelly Kantz. “Rural Americans love RFD-TV and we are confident that they will love our new roster of shows.”

The Dailey & Vincent Show

Rooted in American Music (bluegrass, country, and gospel music) and filmed in front of a live audience at the historic Franklin Theatre in Franklin, Tennessee, The Dailey & Vincent Show, is a weekly music, entertainment, and lifestyles show featuring unique musical performances, guest interviews, and a cooking segment presented by Springer Mountain Farms. Special guests for season one include Vince Gill, Dan Tyminski, The Oak Ridge Boys, Jimmy Fortune of the Statler Brothers, and other famed Country and bluegrass acts.
The Lone Ranger
Starts Saturday, September 5, 2015, at 4:30 PM ET
Hi-Yo Silver, Away! RFD-TV takes off with a new western hero for the Saturday programming lineup. Follow the adventures of this storied masked hero and his Native American partner Tonto, in the classic series, The Lone Ranger. Never seen without his mask or a disguise and never captured or held by lawmen, this masked crusader will precede the Roy Rogers Show, Saturday’s starting at 4:30 PM ET.
Texas Country Reporter

Big Joe's Polka Show Classics

RFD-TV is proudly bringing back classic episodes featuring everyone’s favorite Polka MC, Big Joe. Touted as “happy music, for happy people,” ‘Big Joe’ Siedlik was a fixture in the polka world for more than five decades. Classic episodes will feature toe-tapping polka, ethnic music styles, and holiday festivals to keep viewers dancing, anytime you feel the need to polka!
In addition, RFD-TV has new episodes of The Porter Wagoner Show, Pop Goes the Country, Larry’s Country Diner, Gentle Giants, Horse Master with Julie Goodnight, and Nashville on the Road, among others.
