Cruz Addresses Social Security

Cruz Addresses Social Security

September 29, 2015

NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFDTV) – During RFD-TV’s RURAL TOWN HALL, American voters have the chance to voice questions to 2016 presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz. A volunteer from AARP, Don Corrigan, asked Cruz the following question:

“My question is, how would you specifically reform Social Security to ensure it is on stable ground for future generations?” asked Corrigan

“What we’re seeing politicians in Washington do right now I think is reckless and irresponsible,” said Cruz. “They are allowing Social Security and Medicare both to careen towards insolvency. We need leadership to preserve and strengthen these vital bulwarks of our society.”

Watch Senator Cruz’s complete answer in the video above and see how he addresses other issues important to rural Americans on RURAL TOWN HALL.
