RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN, presented by Polaris RANGER® Semi-Finals Athlete Event: Saddle Bronc Riding

Bio:   Two-time World Champion and 3X RFD-TV’s The American, presented by Polaris RANGER® competitor, Taos Muncy, is a true saddle bronc pro. At just 28-years-old, he’s qualified for the WNFR eight times, the RNCFR six times, and been named World Champion twice.  Being a rodeo star runs in his blood as his dad was a roughstock rider, his mom a barrel racer, brother-in-law, Cody Taton, competing in saddle bronc at the WNFR, and his sister Jordan competing in the WPRA. Tao became a part of the PRCA in 2006 and mad it to his very first WNFR that same season.

This season at the WNFR, Muncy placed 9th in the World for Saddle Bronc. This will also not be Taos’s first trip to The American—he has qualified for this rodeo in previous years. It’s no wonder that his name is Taos—after the Taos Day Rodeo—he was born to be a rodeo star.
