Billy Frey joined Rural Media Group in January 2015. Prior to joining Rural Media Group, Frey was the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Alltech, a global animal health company. During his time at Alltech, Frey worked in various roles and was Marketing Manager for the Canadian and American markets, in addition to overseeing the digital marketing and corporate media divisions. During his time there, the company grew from $85M USD to $1.2B USD in annual sales at the time of his departure.
“I love the agriculture and rural lifestyle, having spent my entire professional career in the industry,” says Frey. “I have known Patrick Gottsch and worked with RFD-TV in the past, so when he approached me to join the team and explained his vision, I jumped at the chance. This is an industry and an audience that has a story to tell and that’s exactly what we want to do at both RFD-TV and RURAL RADIO.”
Frey leads a team of marketing professionals that will build on the success of RFD-TV and RURAL RADIO. “We will always look for new ways to build our audience and our brand, but we will not sacrifice everything that has made this network great over the past 16 years.”
