House of Chards: a Netflix and RFD-TV Production?

June 21, 2016

Nashville, TN

Is RFD-TV teaming up with Netflix to produce a “farm-to-trouble drama” called “House of Chards”?

Unfortunately, no, there is no Netflix and RFD-TV coalition in the foreseeable future. However, The Side-Eye gave RFD-TV a shout-out in their spoof article about the “leafy” drama.

The article, published on May 5th, outlines each episode of the non-existent series that centers around Joe Underwood, the owner of a Swiss chard farm in Mendocino County, California.

If the series really existed, it would most likely air in the fall because, as our guide to seasonal eating states, Swiss chard is grown predominantly in the fall.
